With their 90th birthday around the corner, Sunset Zoo is offering a number of exciting activities and events this summer.
Marketing and Development Officer Melissa Kirkwood says, the Friends of the Sunset Zoo members (FOSZ) are invited to a summer member breakfast on July 8.
The event will last from 10 am to noon, with food prepared by sponsoring partner, The Friendship House.
Kirkwood says a kids free day is also planned for July 22.
The zoo will host its annual Water Safari and Water Matter Days Aug. 5, followed by an adult-only ticketed event that evening to celebrate the zoo’s 90th birthday.
