One person was hospitalized Monday evening following an accidental shooting in the 7100 block of Anderson Ave.
Riley County Police say officers responded just after 10 p.m. and found a 36-year-old woman suffering from ricochet shrapnel wounds to the head and face that occurred while a 39-year-old man she was with was shooting at racoons.
The woman, who’s name was not released, was transported to Ascension Via Christi for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.
