    Saben Williams, 18, of Manhattan was arrested on July 17, 2023, around 8:15 a.m. on his Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from original charges of domestic battery and two counts of violation of a protection order. Williams was issued a total bond of $6,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 300 block of S. Remmele St. in Riley County on July 17, 2023, around 9:15 a.m. A 51-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported his trailer was stolen in November of 2022 and was found abandoned in the 12700 block of Madison Rd. on Monday. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.     Erick Chavez, 27, of Manhattan was arrested on July 17, 2023, around 4:30 p.m. on his Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This warrant stems from original charges of endangering a child, interference with parental custody, and domestic battery. He was also arrested for interference with law enforcement, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia after he fled from officers on a bicycle and on foot, and was found with drugs at the time of his arrest. Chavez remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $15,000.

    Anthony Leonard, 44, of Kansas City, Mo. was arrested on July 17, 2023, around 5:30 p.m. on his Johnson County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Leonard remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $5,000.

    Officers filed a report for theft by deception in Manhattan on July 17, 2023, around 7:15 p.m. A 23-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported she sent a $500 deposit to a 25-year-old male suspect to buy a dog, but never received the dog or the money back.

    Officers filed a report for theft of lost or mislaid property in the 100 block of S. 3rd St. in Manhattan on July 17, 2023, around 9:45 p.m. A 50-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported his iPhone 13 Pro fell off his hip case and when he later realized it was gone, found its location moving on the Find My iPhone app. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,200.
