    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 800 block of Mission Ave. in Manhattan on July 22, 2023, around 8:30 a.m. after a 28-year-old man reported his black and yellow Cannondale Habit mountain bicycle was stolen from his shed. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Gregory Garner, 28, of Eskridge was arrested on July 22, 2023, around 3:45 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for two counts of criminal threat and two counts of harassment by telecommunication device stemming from May 24, 2023, threats to a 32-year-old woman over the phone. Garner was also arrested on a separate Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation stemming from an original charge of harassment by telecommunication device. Garner remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $10,000.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Tuttle Creek Blvd. and Casement Rd. in Manhattan on July 22, 2023, around 10:30 p.m. After arriving on scene, officers found a 2007 Mercury Mariner driven by Amanda Gaul, 19, of Manhattan had been traveling northbound on Tuttle Creek Blvd. when an unknown car crossed into her lane forcing her off the road and into a ravine to the east of the road. The unknown car failed to stop at the scene and has not been identified at this time. Gual was transported to Via Christi for treatment of chest and arm pain.
