The town of Randolph, Kansas hosted its annual July 4th celebration this weekend, hosting a slew of events that started on Saturday.

One of their main events was on Saturday morning where they held their 23rd annual Car show that saw over 100 cars in attendance ranging from the 1930s to the 2020s.

Duane Scardina one of the organizers of the event said that while the thunderstorms in the forecast kept some folks away, it was still a great turnout.

The Car Show also consisted of a 50/50 raffle which saw half of the earnings go towards the winner and the other half go towards improving Tuttle Creek Park as well as scholarships.

The event also saw an ice cream social held by the local church and a softball tournament up at the town’s baseball fields.

The day concluded with the fireworks show, which happened right after the town parade in the afternoon.
