    Wichita man arrested for child sex crimes in City Park

    UPDATE: This story was updated with new information about the details of the arrest.

    A Wichita man was arrested on Friday afternoon in Manhattan.

    According to RCPD, 36-year-old Matthew Hinton was arrested just before 3:00pm at City Park on Fremont Street after a call was placed into the station at 2:15pm that Hinton was having intimate relations with a minor in a car.

    When officers arrived, they identified Hinton and a 14 year old female in the car.

    Hinton was charged with a single count of indecent liberties with a child less than 16 years of age and two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and employment of a child under the age of 18.

    Hinton was arrested and booked into Riley County Jail and is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.
