    Chiefs have no intentions of trading DT Chris Jones

    The first game-style action of the pre-season for Kansas City comes Sunday when the Chiefs open up preseason play on the road against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.

    General manager Brent Veach says that the franchise has no intention of trading star defensive tackle Chris Jones amidst their current contract dispute. But how much work does he need to be ready for the season, Coach Andy Reid?

    The Chiefs took the field for a two-hour and 25-minute padded practice on Monday, marking their seventh padded session in the last 11 days. In other news, linebacker Isaiah Moore was waived with an injury settlement. Kickoff Sunday is at noon on Newsradio KMAN.
