Manhattan City Commissioners have multiple general agenda items to discuss when they meet tonight.
Commissioners will consider a request to reduce landscaping and setback requirements for a parking lot expansion project at Manhattan High School. USD 383 is proposing an extension of the south parking lot along Oak Street asking the city to waive landscape screening and landscape island requirements and having the parking lot setback be reduced.
The district says the request will create uniformity with preexisting lots and increase availability of off-street parking. The request was unanimously approved in July by the city’s Planning Board.
Also on the agenda is a request to create a water and sewer benefit district for the Stagg Hill Business Community Addition.
The meeting begins at 6:00 in City Hall.
