    Anthony Edwards, 38, of Manhattan was arrested on August 11, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m. on a Wyandotte County District Court warrant for probation violation. Edwards was issued a total bond of $25,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash in the 6800 block of Vinton School Rd. on August 11, 2023, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Sierra Davis, 23, of Fort Riley had lost control while navigating a bend in the road and overturned. Davis was transported to Irwin Army Community Hospital for treatment of torso and neck injuries.

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 2000 block of Seaton Ave. in Manhattan on August 12, 2023, around 7:00 p.m. A 29-year-old man was listed as the victim when he reported two handguns; Glock 43x and G45, were stolen from his apartment. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,100. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on August 12, 2023, at approximately 10:45 p.m. A 28-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a man known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for battery in the 1100 block of Moro St. in Manhattan on August 13, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m. A 21-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown man struck him in the head during a fight in Fat Shack causing him to have a seizure. The victim was transported to Via Christi for treatment. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.     Oscar Herrera, 24, of Manhattan was arrested on August 13, 2023, at approximately 6:45 a.m. for domestic battery, battery, criminal threat, criminal damage to property, and criminal restraint after it was reported he restrained, hit, and threatened a 31-year-old woman known to him and broke a television worth approximately $100. Herrera remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $12,000.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash in the 700 block of Ehlers Rd. in Manhattan on August 13, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 2006 Ford Taurus driven by Heavenly Feniello, 46, of Herington had hydroplaned while driving down the hill on Ehlers causing it to leave the roadway and strike a manhole cover. Feniello was transported to Via Christi for treatment of head, hand, arm, and leg injuries.
