A 16-year-old male was arrested Tuesday at Manhattan High School.

Riley County Police Officers responded to the school around 2:15 p.m. after reports that Brycen Tyler was making threats of violence and indicating he may have a weapon. A School Resource Officer made contact with the teen and determined he was not in possession of any weapons.

Tyler was arrested for aggravated criminal threat and transported to the North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Facility in Junction City.
