K-State’s blowout of TCU last Saturday allowed Wildcat coaches to pick over game film of their quarterbacks with a fine-toothed comb. As both Will Howard and Avery Johnson got multiple drives to lead the offense, the coaches got their best look at Johnson’s ability in game action, including making adjustments on the fly, says Coach Chris Klieman.

While fan’s attention was on the quarterback rotation, the head coach was also pleased with what he saw in assessing the other side of the ball.
