Manhattan City Commissioners unanimously approved the first reading of a rezoning request for the former Ag Press site, near 15th and Yuma Street, Tuesday.

The decision clears the way for the development of a proposed dining, recreation and entertainment venue.

Community Development director Stephanie Peterson explains where the rezoning will take place.

A preliminary development plan shows an outdoor venue and stage on the south end of the property, with the warehouse being repurposed into a brewery, dining area and indoor venue along with an area for food trucks and other entertainment.
