    Pottawatomie County approves purchase of multiple Narcan doses

    The Pottawatomie County Commission approved a motion to purchase 50 doses of Narcan Monday.

    Health Department Director Leslie Campbell informed commissioners that their supply has been distributed in the community.

    Commissioner Pat Weixelman questioned Campbell about how an agency would go about acquiring Narcan.

    In other business Monday, Campbell noted they’ve done about 20 clinics in the community for flu and COVID vaccines, and are currently seeing cases of hand, foot and mouth disease, with at least two noted in the county..
