A Manhattan woman is jailed following an alleged assault Wednesday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department, 34-year-old Deborah Cobler was arrested in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road on probable cause charges, including two counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement officers, interference and criminal damage to property.
Cobler is accused of using a baseball bat to strike a door at the home of a 23-year-old woman in the Redbud Estates neighborhood and assaulting two male police officers. She was taken into custody shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday and remains jailed on a $20,000 bond.
