The Manhattan City Commission will hold a work session Tuesday to discuss economic development and housing incentives.

The community development staff will also lead a discussion on strategies and funding opportunities for new local work force housing. Assistant City Manager Jared Wasinger previewed the conversation following Monday’s intergovernmental luncheon.

The city had previously conducted a housing market analysis that concluded there was not enough housing stock for medium income households. The work session begins at 6 p.m. in City Hall.
