Downtown Manhattan is continuing to see improvements made to the infrastructure thanks to initiatives from Downtown Manhattan, Inc.
Of note, Houston Street will be receiving a complete overhaul with an expected start at the end of February. Construction primarily will be taking place between 3rd and 5th Street. Downtown Manhattan, Inc. Executive Director Gina Snyder:
The implementation of water and sewer lines north and south of Houston along 4th street are also expected during this “beautification project.”
