Library hosts annual book sale this weekend

By Kolby Van Camp on February 22, 2024 Local News, Manhattan

The Manhattan Public Library is holding their annual book sale this weekend.

The sale serves as a major fundraiser for library initiatives, as well as an opportunity to engage the community through multiple forms of media. Bree Braun from the library community engagement department says the funds raised are largely put toward library events:

While hard and soft cover books will be available, Braun says there is much more to be enjoyed:

The event opens to MLA members starting February 23 and the general public on February 24. MLA members can access the sale from 5:30-7:30pm on Friday. The sale opens to the public from 10am-4pm Saturday and 1-3:30pm Sunday. It is located on the second floor of the library in the auditorium.
