UFM Community Learning Center is continuing to develop a new initiative to educate young people in the Manhattan community.

The opportunity, called the YouthBuild Program, is a construction pre apprenticeship and GED program for youth aged 16-24. Director Aliah Mestrovich Seay elaborates:

Seay says that the program is designed for people who need a different educational experience:

The goal of the initiative provides an alternative pipeline to help youth acquire high school degrees and have stronger chances at getting into college degrees or professional internships that are practical and in demand. For more information, interested individuals should visit tryufm.org.
