A male subject was airlifted to a Wichita Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after he was struck by a boat prop in the water.

Geary County Emergency Management reported on Facebook that emergency vehicles responded to East Rolling Hills at Milford Lake at around noon today to find a male injured in the water. Bystanders on scene treated the subject until emergency personnel arrived.

The subject was then flown to a Wichita Hospital by a Lifestar Air Ambulance for further treatment.

Junction City Fire/EMS, Geary County Sheriff, the Geary County Emergency Management, Kansas Wildlife and Parks, Corp of Engineers and Lifestar responded to the scene. Kansas Wildlife and Parks is in charge of the investigation.
