A pest expert is predicting a “bug boom” in Kansas this summer due to extreme weather across the region.
Zachary Smith of The Pest Dude says there should be a rise in ants, beetles, earwigs, rodents, scorpions and cockroaches to name a few popping up this summer due to warm temperatures and excessive rainfall.
Smith recommends a number of remedies to prevent these pests from infesting your home or garden this summer by doing simple things like regular cleaning, hiring a professional exterminator and also finding ways to reduce humidity in your home.
