Dension construction projects to get underway on Monday

    0
By AJ Shaw on July 12, 2024 Local News, Manhattan

Dension Avenue will be closing down on Monday for at least the next two weeks between Anderson and Claflin.

Crews hope to have the project completed by Thursday Jul. 25 as a concrete base is repaired followed by some paving.

The official detour will be Sunset Avenue from Anderson to Claflin.

Denison concrete repairs will also be getting underway today as Anderson and Bluemont will be milled from 11th Street to Harris Drive. Work is expected to last until Friday Aug. 9.

Anderson and Bluemont will not be fully closed during this work, but there will be a shifting of lane closures throughout the work zone.

Shilling Construction will be in charge of both projects.
