An inmate at the Riley County jail died Monday, according to Riley County Police Department officials.
Corrections officers found 51-year-old Michael Smith unresponsive around 4:30 p.m. Monday. They alerted emergency medical services, who responded to the scene and provided immediate CPR. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
