    Volleyball:
Manhattan took a match from Lawrence but fell to Centennial League rival Washburn Rural at Lawrence High. Wamego picked off a win over Chapman. Rock Creek fell to Clay Center in its first NCKL matches since moving to that league at the start of the school year. Blue Valley-Randolph lost to Valley Heights but took a win over Frankfort. Valley Heights also tallied wins over Axtell and Frankfort, with Frankfort losing to Axtell to round out the quad.

    Golf:
Manhattan placed third at the Washburn Rural Invitational at Wamego County Club yesterday, three strokes off the title won by St. James Academy. Wamego took sixth as Addison Douglas led the local contingent with an individual third, shooting a 75. A trio of Manhattan golfers rounded out the top pack as Maddie Myers and Kat Ball shot 80 to tie for ninth, Emily Wuggazer shot an 82.
