K-State’s enrollment for the 2024-25 school year went up for a second straight year.
University president Richard Linton on Monday told local government officials that the small uptick in enrollment partially is a result of attracting in-state students to Manhattan.
“They come here because they’re overwhelmed by the authenticity and the realness of the people here in Manhattan,” he said. “So I think we just have to get people on campus and show them what this community is about — especially athletes, because we have around a 90% success rate when we do that.”
