    MHS volleyball drops a pair at Free State

    Manhattan High dropped a pair of tightly contested matchups in a two-match set at Lawrence Free State on Monday.

    The Firebirds notched their win in two sets, winning each 25-23, while the second challenger in Blue Valley Northwest grabbed a three-set win, 25-19, 18-25, 25-18.

    “Great night of volleyball and saw a lot of good things,” head coach Nicole Jones said in a written statement.
