Sunset Zoo welcomes birth of Malayan tiger cubs

0
By KMAN Staff on September 26, 2024 Local News, Manhattan
Picture by Head Keeper Caitlin Kenney of new Malayan tiger cubs with mom, Indrah. The cubs were born on August 23 at Sunset Zoo in Manhattan, Kansas.

The Sunset Zoo recently introduced a new pair of furry friends to the local community.

Zoo officials announced Thursday that resident Malayan tigers Indrah and Jaya gave birth to the Zoo’s first-ever tiger cubs on August 23rd.

The births mark a significant milestone in the Zoo’s conservation efforts and supports the global effort to save the critically endangered Malayan Tiger.
