They probably won’t want to, but Kansas State and its fans will certainly remember the 21st night of September after a 38-9 beating at the hands of Brigham Young in Provo, Utah, Saturday.
The 13th-ranked Wildcats led 6-3 with 2:10 to play in the first half. Less than five minutes of game time later, K-State trailed 31-6 after an absolute collapse on offense, defense and special teams.
From there, the Wildcats failed to find any momentum as K-State saw its final three drives of the game end with a turnover-on-downs.
