A man was taken to the hospital following a crash early Monday morning in Geary County.
The Geary County Sheriff’s Office reported that Nicholas Cruz, 18, of Junction City was taken to Ascension Via Christi by a private vehicle for suspected minor injuries after his 2005 Honda Accord struck a deer just after 6 a.m. Monday morning.
The accident occurred on the K-18 highway near I-70 about 5 miles east of Junction City. Cruz was heading westbound on K-18 at the time of the collision. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
