32-year-old woman arrested for alleged aggravated assault; battery on officer

On October 27, 2024, police in Manhattan, KS, filed charges for aggravated assault, battery on a law enforcement officer, and interference with law enforcement following an incident in the 200 block of North 9th Street.

Reports indicate that 32-year-old Tiffany Ryals allegedly threatened a 63-year-old man with a knife and physically assaulted a 45-year-old man.

Ryals was arrested and remains in the Riley County Jail on a $20,000 bond as the investigation continues.

She was previously arrested on October 22nd for alleged criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with a law enforcement officer, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
