With two years remaining on her second term, the Gov. Laura Kelly is looking to accomplish several things.
On KMAN’s Within Reason with Mike Matson on Monday, Kelly said her main focus is “continuing the progress her administration has made.”
“We’ve been able to fully finance our schools for the last six years,” she said. “I want to make sure that we continue to do that. We’ve also balanced our budget and have the largest budget surplus in state history. Going forward, I want to continue that as well.”
