    Officers filed a report of theft on October 2, 2024, at approximately 11:29 AM in the 3400 block of Chimney Rock Road.  Officers listed a 27-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect sent emails and text messages posing as the victim’s boss asking her to purchase gift cards and send pictures of the gift cards. Total loss associated with this report is $1,200.  Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report of an injury accident at the corner of Scenic Drive and Miller Parkway on October 2, 2024, at approximately 2:07 PM.  Officers report Gary Romanski, 78, of Ogden, was operating a 1998 Chevy 1500 when he lost control and exited the roadway striking a tree. Romanski was life-flighted to Stormont Vail Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

    Alvin Love, 41, of Manhattan, was arrested on October 2, 2024, at approximately 11:12 PM in the 400 block of Walters Drive.  Love was arrested on the probable cause offenses of criminal damage to property, interference with an LRO, and criminal trespass. Total bond was set at $5,000. Love was confined at the time of this report.
