    RCPD Report: 10/7/24

    Officers filed a report of burglary on October 5, 2024, at approximately 2:36 AM in the 2000 block of Shirley Lane.  Officers listed a 28-year-old female and a 35-year-old-male as the victims when it was reported their residence was broken into by an unknown subject who stole a handgun with case, a tote bag, and a wedding ring. Total estimated loss associated with this report is $2,500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Amy Roth, 38, of Paxico, was arrested on October 4, 2024, at approximately 10:33 PM at the corner of Bluemont Ave and Hayes Dr.  Roth was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation x 3.  Total bond was set at $11,000. Roth was confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of motor vehicle theft on October 6, 2024, at approximately 6:51 AM in the 500 block of S. 8th Street.  Officers listed WB Electronics, LLC as the victim when it was reported a 2005 beige GMC Sierra commercial vehicle was stolen from the locked fence portion of the business. Upon exit, the unknown subject drove the vehicle through the locked fence causing damage to the fence. Total estimated loss associated with this report is approximately $16,000.
