The race for Kansas House of Representatives District 67 has grabbed headlines in recent weeks.
Democrat Kim Zito and Republican Angel Roeser are seeking to take over for GOP Rep. Mike Dodson, who chose not to run for reelection.
Roeser has garnered attention for lying about having a K-State degree and being unable to prove she voted in the state referendum on abortion in 2022 despite saying she did. Zito, who lost to Dodson in 2022, came under fire from Republicans this week for using a racial slur on Facebook while quoting offensive comments hurled at her and others at a demonstration in 2020.
