Although the official record may tell you differently, it might as well be a battle of two undefeated squads as Manhattan High football hosts Maize on Friday night.

No. 7 seed Maize has a 5-4 overall record but they’ve been unbeaten since switching quarterbacks in Week 5.

“They’re super confident — and they should be,” Manhattan head coach Joe Schartz said. “They’ve won five games in a row. They have their personnel lined out. And the kids are feeling good, the coaches are feeling good. They should be because they’re a very good football team.”
