    Historical museum’s old exhibits getting a new look

    Riley County Historical Museum will close at the end of the month for interior renovations, county officials announced Friday. The final day to see the items currently on display will be Dec. 22.

    The museum, at 2309 Claflin Road, will close until February while staff members and folunteers repaint the interior, update the layout and install new exhibits.

    The museum’s reopening is planned for Feb. 8.
