On December 28, a crash involving a 1992 Cozy Cub fixed-wing aircraft occurred in Parsons, Kansas, near 1502 21000 Road. The accident took place at approximately 1:25 PM when the aircraft, attempting to land on a private grass strip, struck a power line during its approach.
