    USD 383 tables youth football group’s request to use Bishop Stadium

    The USD 383 school board on Wednesday tabled a request from leaders of the Manhattan Youth Football Association to play games on Manhattan High’s home field after superintendent Eric Reid said the district typically doesn’t allow outside entities to rent it because of maintenance concerns.

    School board members said they wanted to learn more information before making any decisions.

    Buck Driggs, the association’s president, told The Mercury last week efforts to use Bishop Stadium have failed for years.
