A Manhattan man pleaded guilty to charges involving fentanyl on Monday in Riley County District Court and was convicted.

Veron Davis, 25, of Manhattan, entered a plea deal coordinated by Davis’ attorney, Jonathan Phelps, and the state’s representative on Monday morning in front of Judge Grant Bannister.

Assistant County Attorney John Griffin represented the state when Davis pleaded guilty to distribution of fentanyl, use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation, possession of fentanyl and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Bannister accepted all guilty pleas. Davis’ sentencing will be at 9 a.m. April 7.
