City officials on Friday announced a portion Juliette Avenue is shutting down beginning Feb. 24 and lasting about 12 weeks before shifting further south.

The closure will stretch from Poyntz Avenue south through the intersection of Juliette and Houston Street to the alley midway between Houston and Pierre streets.

Pierre Street will remain open to through traffic during this phase, which officials think could last into May 2025. After that, the closure on Juliette will move south to affect Pierre Street. That will stretch between the aforementioned alley and the intersection of Juliette and Pierre.
