Kansas State’s Keegan O’Connor hits for a home run in the bottom of the second inning during the Wildcats’ 20-6, seven-inning non-conference win over William & Mary, March 9, at Tointon Family Stadium.

Tanner Duke’s 2 1/3 scoreless innings and Keegan O’Connor’s go-ahead two-run home run in the eighth lifted Kansas State baseball to a 7-6 victory over Tarleton State on Wednesday night at the Tarleton Baseball Complex in Stephenville, Texas.

Tied 5-5 in the eighth, O’Connor laced the game-winning homer to opposite field, handing the Wildcats (13-7, 3-0 Big 12) their fourth consecutive win.

“Overall, a really great team win,” head coach Pete Hughes said in a written statement. “We had guys picking each other up all night long.
