    K-State men forgoing postseason after Baylor Big 12 tourney loss

    There will not be a postseason for the Kansas State men after Wednesday’s 70-56 loss to Baylor in the second round of the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City.

    There was some thought heading into this week that if the Wildcats failed to run the table in Kansas City and earn the Big 12’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, that they’d accept an invitation to one of the more minor postseason opportunities.

    Odds are they’d be able to return to the NIT, where they lost in the first round to Iowa last season, or they could hit Las Vegas.
