    Arrest Summary:
    The Riley County Police Department reported eight arrests, including incidents involving drug possession, theft, and domestic battery:

    – Adam John Rundell, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested for possession of narcotics, theft under $1,500, and criminal trespass. He is being held at the Riley County Jail on a $4,000 bond.

    – Joshua James Hamilton, 42, also of Manhattan, faces similar charges of theft and trespass from the same incident and is jailed on a $1,000 bond.

    – Chase James Smith, 22, of Fort Riley, was stopped on EB K-18 for driving while suspended and other traffic violations. He was not confined.

    – Joshua Lynn Friesen, 42, of Hillsboro, was arrested for drug possession and DUI on K-18. His bond was set at $2,500.

    – Deonta Antrel Thompson, 25, of Manhattan, was booked for two counts of failure to appear in court, with a total bond of $1,500.

    – Tracy Lee Moore, 51, of Adel, IA, was arrested at a local motel for domestic battery involving a person in a dating relationship. He was not confined.

    – Caleb Leroy Riney, 19, of Manhattan, was taken into custody at municipal court for failure to appear; his bond was $1,000.

    – Kaiden Michael Burton, 22, of Wamego, was arrested by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property.

    Citation Summary:

    – Elaine De Smedt, 60, ran a red light near Westport Dr. and Anderson Ave.

    – Joyce Potter, 65, and **Emily Hug De Belmont Brugada**, 24, were both cited for inattentive driving.

    – James Lewis, 66, failed to perform duty at Manhattan Town Center.

    – Mariah Garcia, 26, was cited for driving without a license in the early morning hours.

    – Destiny Nieves, 22, failed to yield at a stop/yield sign.

    – Tavon Burks, 19, received two citations: one for marijuana possession and another for running a red light.

    – Meleesa Grate, 56, of St. George, was cited for unsafe turning in July 2025, appearing retroactively in the report.
