    Staff reports

Despite losing its nine-game win streak in an 18-inning battle with McPherson on Friday, Wamego softball is still in a great position after bouncing back with a split against Silver Lake on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders (10-3) remained third in 4A East, only trailing 16-1 Eudora and 8-2 Atchison. Against Concordia, Wamego won 11-0 and 19-1.
