Keith Rea, 29, of Ogden, was arrested on May 15, 2025, at approximately 11:02 p.m. in the 100 block of 9th Street, for domestic battery. Rea was issued a total bond of $5000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Kensley Perdue, 23, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 15, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated battery, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery. Perdue was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Mandy Torres, 45, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 15, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The warrant stems from the original charges of aggravated burglary, theft and criminal trespass. Torres was issued a total bond of $30,000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Wilberth Matus, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 15, 2025, at approximately 12:50 p.m. in the 500 block of Johnson Trail, for blackmail and breach of privacy. Matus was issued a total bond of $6000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
On May 15, 2025, at approximately 05:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S. 4th Street. for the report of a fatality accident. The report listed a 32-year-old male as the victim of a reported hit-and-run pedestrian fatality accident. A subsequent investigation identified the hit-and-run driver as a 48-year-old male who was driving a semi-truck at the time of the accident. Shane Jungemann, 48, of Jefferson City, SD, was arrested on May 15, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road, for failure to report an accident involving a fatality. Jungemann was issued a total bond of $15,000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Tiara Newman, 31, of Topeka, KS, was arrested on May 11, 2025, at approximately 2:18 a.m. in Geary County on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. The warrant stems from the original charge of driving while suspended. Newman was issued a total bond of $750 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
