Officers filed 21 reports, including an injury accident in the 700 block of Bluemont Avenue and several non-injury collisions throughout the city. Other notable incidents included battery reports, larcenies at multiple locations including Best Buy and Countryside Parks, criminal damage to property, and a violation of a court order. Trespassing and DUI-related offenses were also documented, along with a battery incident at Tubbys bar in Aggieville.
Two arrests were made. Conner Wayne Bruce, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested in the early hours of May 17 for interference with law enforcement, failure to appear, and criminal trespass. He remains confined at the Riley County Jail with a bond of $5,750. In a separate case, Shawn Trey Sinnott, 48, also of Manhattan, was arrested for breach of privacy after allegedly using a concealed camcorder without consent. His bond was set at $6,000.
