Philtasha Powell, 28, of Topeka, KS, was arrested on May 29, 2025, at approximately 11:04 a.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road on a Jackson County, MO, District Court extradition warrant, for two counts of theft. Powell was issued no bond and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Sherman Sherin II, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 29, 2025, at approximately 10:52 a.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for criminal damage to property, and three counts of violations of a protection order. Sherin II was issued a total bond of $8,000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
