    Wamego boys’ golf wins 3rd straight state title

    Wamego boys’ golf’s stranglehold on Class 4A continued on Wednesday as the Red Raiders came away with their third straight state championship.

    The Red Raiders ended the two-day tournament — held at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton on Tuesday and Wednesday — with a three-stroke victory over Topeka-Hayden, putting up a 621 (309-312) to Hayden’s 624 (316-308).
