    Harli Omli leads Manhattan girls to best finish since 2002

    WICHITA — It was an unforgettable weekend for the Manhattan girls’ track team, finishing Class 6A runners-up at the state meet with 64 points. It came down to the final event, but Shawnee-Mill Valley edged MHS out with 70 points.

    “It was a total team effort,” head coach Kory Cool said. “We did what we came to do, which was get on the podium for the first time in 23 years. You just can’t ask for anything more.”
