    Manhattan, Kan. –

    Officers filed a report for attempted murder in the 1st degree, aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated domestic battery, criminal threat, domestic battery, and criminal damage to property in Manhattan on May 30, 2025, at approximately 12:46 a.m.  A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 23-year-old man was listed as the suspect.  Lane Luthi, 23, of Junction City, KS was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant in connection to this report for attempted murder in the 1st degree, aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated domestic battery, criminal threat, domestic battery, and criminal damage to property. Luthi was issued a total bond of $500,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Brendon Delarosa, 22, of Bronx, NY was arrested on May 30, 2025 at approximately 1:15 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. This warrant stems from a report filed in September 2019 for rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Delarosa was issued a total bond of $200,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 800 block of N 12th St in Manhattan on May 31, 2025 at approximately 10:42 a.m. A 24-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and took military equipment, workout equipment, two skateboards, and a Garmin watch. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,555. Anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for violation of a court order in Manhattan on June 1, 2025 at approximately 9:33 a.m. A 46-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a 35-year-old man violated a protection order. Anthony Toliver, 35, of Manhattan was arrested for two counts of violation of a protection order. Toliver was issued a total bond of $12,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Glenn Bennett, 28, of Manhattan was arrested on June 1, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on two Riley County District Court warrant for two counts of probation violation. Bennett was issued a total bond of $16,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
