    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 7800 block of Country Rd. in Riley on June 25, 2025, at approximately 11:02 a.m. A 67-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his utility trailer and miscellaneous tools. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,100. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    James Johnson, 23, of Manhattan, KS was arrested for domestic battery on June 26, 2025, at approximately 12:09 a.m. This arrest was in connection to a report filed for domestic battery on June 18, 2025. Johnson was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal threat in the 1100 block of Westport Dr. in Manhattan on June 25, 2025, at approximately 5:18 p.m. A 19-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were listed as the victims and a 41-year-old woman was listed as the suspect when it was reported she told the victims she had an explosive device. Officers did not locate any explosive devices upon their arrival. Tisha Steenrod, 41, of Kansas City, MO was arrested for aggravated criminal threat. Tisha was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
